The Almost But Not Quite
**These are the ten singles that ALMOST made it to the top twenty. Some of these singles, if based on my YTT scores are very eligible for the top 20 however, during that time, the competition would've been too easy making them take the top spot or spend a lot of days in the c/d before reaching retirement. A review had then to be made. It took me at least TEN spins for all top thirty songs to decide who to exclude in the top 20. Hope you guys enjoy ^_^

"Straight Through My Heart"
Why Top 30? : This lead single from their new album is just too damn catchy to ignore. This song was actually my song of the month for October (for those who saw my YTT anyway lol).
Why Almost And Quite Not? : Honestly, choosing my entries for ATRL's Top 20 songs of 2009 was a tad difficult. This song really has my vote but competition just bid BSB out.... still Top 30 is a BIGGER achievement

Why Top 30? : Does beating Womanizer's BB100 jump suffice? Seriously, I love this single and the song is very Clarkson-like.
Why Almost And Quite Not? : It grew old so fast on me, but hey!! this is my favorite single from her newest album. It may not be Top 20 but it's Top 30 ^_^

Why Top 30? : The reason? The message of the song. I love the power of the lyrics and the meaning it tries to imply. Life is indeed all about the journey and not the destination.... (cries..... not really lmao)

"Beautiful"
Why Top 30? : The word beautiful is OVERUSED by most people but between Akon and Colby, they definitely gave it its real meaning. From their previous collabo with Lady GaGa's "Just Dance", their combo doesn't seem to get old. This is the type of song you'll definitely sing when you see beautiful lady 
Why Almost And Quite Not? : Another good song beaten by competition but is definitely on my favorite song list

Why Top 30? : This is a good example of a grower song. At first listen, i was like meh, but soon enough, the melody and lyrics of the song strucked me and hit #26 spot of my Best of 2009
Why Almost And Quite Not? : This song just lacked a lil bit of Bleeding Love's X factor (lmao). But still one of the great ballads out there

Why Top 30? : Awoooh!!!~~ A she wolf or a ghost? lmao This first single from Shaki is very catchy. I didn't get the point of the song but the beat is SICK!!
Why Almost And Quite Not? : It started to get annoying really fast but at the end, it started growing back and now its definitely a good song for me

Why Top 30? : Aw Come on!! It's MC y'all. This may not have the success of "Touch My Body" but its definitely one of those memorable songs bashing haters out there lol.
Why Almost And Quite Not? : Well, maybe she shouldn't have retaliated with this song. The only aspect keeping this song from the top twenty is... the music video... (no further comment)

Why Top 30? : Finally a pop song that at least reminds us all that there is a GOD out there. That we're not always alone in the dark and someone is always there to find us 
Why Almost And Quite Not? : Dang!! 3 spots away from the top twenty, let's just say #22, and #21 had all the reason in the world to block it from the top 20

Why Top 30? : After being defeated by KC, she once again beated KC (take that! lmao) by debuting at #1 of BB100. The beat is so danceable and now the dance floor is no longer limited to two persons dancing but three instead!! 
Why Almost And Quite Not? : I really don't know why this didn't make it to the Top 20..... let's just say she has few more songs to boot this song out

Why Top 30? : GaGa-Ohh La La!! Definitely an impressive year for Lady GaGa. The music video is just PURE AWESOMENESS and definitely one of the few best MV's of the year
