GGGB songs were very commercial. the only uptempo on rated r is rude boy. all the others are mid tempo or ballad.

we will have to wait and see how rated r does WORLDWIDE.

and if the songs were not good, then LA TIMES, NEW YORK TIMES AND ROLLING STONE would not have given the album very good reviews.

we will have to wait till the worldwide sales of rated r to see if it did better than gggb. she can pull a gggb with this album. release the right singles, tour overseas, do a rerelease late next year.

Finally heard the new Rihanna album and it is brilliant! Yeah, the angry/sad/emotionally-matured sound of this album may drive away a lot of consumers, but honestly, I'm really proud of her for this album. I think she needed to get this album off her chest, and even if listeners don't find their way to it, she's crafted her best album yet artistically (even if I do love me some "Good Girl Gone Bad").

No, Adam would still be # 2 because Monster is a new album altogether so they would'nt combine the sales with the previous album.
