It IS Black culture.
White people, from Iggy and Miley to corporate America, look at Black culture, see it in the simplest of ways, take it, manipulate it, exploit it, and regurgitate it, producing what ends up as the perpetuation of "ghetto" and "ratchet".
That in and of itself is one of the major reasons why appropriation is such an issue. The people who are appropriating don't actually understand the culture they're taking from, so all they present is their simple, stereotype-enriched version: twerking, ass, Southern accents, weave, and gettin dat paper. That **** leads the rest of the majority like yourself to see the culture that was appropriated as nothing but those simple stereotypes produced by the appropriators themselves, thus erasing the REAL culture over time.

Azealia Banks acting like she has it tough is the most ridiculous thing, if she's upset that Iggy is so successful she has no right to be because she has been afforded countless opportunities to be a star but has constantly failed to because she's a brat who thinks she's entitled to everything. Iggy is dumb as hell, and my opinion of her is even less after tonight, because as usual this bitch is avoiding the larger issue at hand, and acting like AB is obsessed with her.
Azealia's worst song (ATM Jam) is worse than Iggy's best song (don't know any besides Fancy and Pu$$y) and that's a fact.
