Tours are actually considerably bigger now than they used to be, as weird as that is.
In 2001, the top tour was U2 with $143M and the tenth biggest tour was ACDC's with $28.3M.
In 2011, the top tour was U2 (legends) with $231.9M. I don't know the tenth biggest, but touring became unreal after 2005. I remember we used to think $30M was a smash tour
