It is her first collaboration with American producer Dallas Austin and her first single to not be produced by Tetsuya Komuro, representing a major shift in sound and further experimentation with R&B music. The single was released in 8cm and 12cm formats, each debuting at different positions - with the 8cm ver. peaking at #3 and the 12cm ver. peaking at #7. Combined the two version have sold nearly 370,000 copies. The song was later rerecorded and added to her compilation album LOVE ENHANCED♥ single collection in 2002.

In total it went on to sell 640,000 - the 32nd best selling song of 2000 as well as her most successful physical single of 2000's.
