That’s The Way Love Goes might be the most familiar song from this album to many of us. Its an absolute knock embracing the finest of ‘90s R&B. Its also probably the Janet single that I was most familiar with growing up until I actually branched out and explored her discography.

Its through that familiarity that I actually rated it a bit lower than usual. I’ve grown to feel that, although fantastic, it gets a bit bogged down by some of the other highlights from the album.

Janet has 3 left.

Fun fact: this was my lowest score in the top ten.... an 8.5

It's a great start to the album, but janet. reaches much higher peaks.

Interesting that the biggest hit of Janet's career is following the biggest hit of Madonna's out the rate.

This Time ranks as the highest non-single in the rate, a fact that I am happy about.
