Her touring power at such an early stage in her career is truly commendable! Even if you don't like her, you cannot deny what touring force she is...I mean she's on the list with women who have been in the business for years...and she's the only one with a 5 year career! She deserves a standing ovation!

Back in the 80s, you could go see legends like Michael Jackson and Madonna with 25 bucks. Those were the good old days.

Now the concert industry has become a monopoly. They charge so much.

I wish we lived in those times. I think production of shows has really changed the tickets prices too. I know for U2's 360 Tour they would have to make over $300 million just to cover the costs of production for the tour.

they mostly did stadium tours back then...when you have to sell 70.000+ tickets for each concert you can't have high prices...nowadays most of the artists play at arenas...

Michael Jackson did arenas for the Bad Tour in the late 80's and was charging under $30 and was charging 17.50 GBP which is about $33 USD (in 2014 inflation).

It's even more amazing that Madonna's 3 tours on that list are also the 3 shortest in terms of number of shows!!!

Generally prices were very low back then whether the concert was in a stadium, an arena or a small theater. It was simply NOT acceptable to pay more than 25 bucks. When MJ tried to charge 30 bucks it was a big deal.

I mean, Madonna now does stadiums around the world and in many cases the cheapest ticket is like 100 bucks. lol. So, the size of the venue was not the reason.

Cher's tour started in June of 2002 and finished in May of 2005. Three years later.

She downgraded the sizes of the venues when she came back multiple times over. Towards the end she wasn't able to sell out shows with under a 12,000 capacity.

I love her commitment to touring though, its not about the money for her clearly.

Not only does Gaga have TWO tours in the Top 10, but the BTWB had less dates than The Mrs. Carter Show.

On top of that, the BTWB had a higher attendance with less dates so how does that make Beyonce third?

Not with the Mrs Carter tour havin thirty ****ing four more dates than the Born This Way Ball and barely passing it

Not to mention if the BTWB hadnt been cut short it would've grossed more than Yonce's.

I love Beyonce so much, but her fans are getting on my nerves after the success of "BEYONCE" they need to take several seats.
