I just finished watching all the videos, considering it's a "visual album", I wanted to experience it like it's supposed to be.

It's just a beautiful album. Really new, and so exciting. My favorites are XO, Partition, and Blow (and of course Grown Woman).

Music-wise, I think I still prefer 4, but I'm more into commercial music. This is very different, and I'm sure it will grow on me. She really executed this perfectly.

Ugh. I love her so much for this. I have so much respect for her. She took the biggest risk any artist could take. I mean, an iTunes exclusive with no lead single or video, no announcement, no release date, NOTHING. This deserves to smash. It's easily her best album, even though I've only listened to it in full 1 1/2 times.

I've been a fan of her since i first heard Independent Woman on MTV back in 2000, my thing with Bey was her full discography. Her albums always seemed to have several fillers and I never really liked them in FULL. I've always thought she's genius, arguibly the best performer of our time... With all of this being said... I'm so ****ing happy to say this is, by a landslide, her best album. Every single song has smash potential. Every single song hits hard like a ****ing storm. Her voice sounds different, it's raspier... it's raw. The passion is still there, the belts, the beats, the lyrics... everything. Everything about this is perfection. Imma have to give this some more listens but this is DEFINITELY one of the best albums of the year.
