EDIE'S DEATH
The most depressing moment Desperate Housewives has had and the one that affected the series the most. Edie, the fifth housewive from the beginning dies. Once a frenemy with all the girls she became one of their close friends and all of them liked her in the end. It was so sad that this was exactly the time that she had to leave. **** the trial, Edie was the most honest out of all the girls and most upstanding. She always told the truth, took care of her neighbors and we all know deep down in her heart she was a great woman. Amongst all the husband-stealing, the bitch fights with all residents and her aggressive attitude we learned to love her that way.
When the four women along with Edie's good friend Karen spread her ashes it was one emotional moment. We had to let go of her just as she let go of the world. And while she might have never been on the show again, we all know she's been watching her four close friends until their very last breath.

Wisteria Lane was never the same again.
