Now, it's time to give a little love to the lessor types of categories.. the first from the ATRL ones, and the final Extras one. Here's the best Album Survivors of the year, as well as my biggest HIGHLIGHT OF 2011.
1. Ciara: 'Basic Instinct'
Thread creator: Duca HIGHLIGHT OF 2011 Taylor Swift: 'Speak Now: World Tour'
November 13th, 2011
It all started out with a secret surprise and massive confusion on what it could be.. but as my sister & I traveled an hour down to Miami, the thought was coming closer to me, and that thought was true. My mom and sister surprised me with Taylor Swift tickets and I was too excited. The concert was easily the best day and night of the year, and likely one of the best in my whole life. In this amazing, 3-hour show.. Taylor shined, dazzled, and put on the best show I've seen. 'Speak Now' was one of those concerts you just had to see to believe- with around 17 songs performed, a Flo Rida guest appearance, a sold-out show, spinning & glowing trees, people on strings coming out of bells, flying in the air on a balcony, and that's just SOME of the awesome things that happened.
You missed out on a lot, here's a tiny recap in her live music video, 'Sparks Fly':
COMING UP
Best Albums: #18-15
Most Played
2 Performers!
Right now, we're going to start off the day of categories with part 4 of BEST ALBUMS. This time we go from revealing 2 to revealing 4.. with #18 to #14.
Let's see who they are.. RIGHT NOW!
Previously:
#26. Wiz Khalifa- 'Rolling Papers'
#25. Dev- 'The Night The Sun Came Up'
#24. Simple Plan- 'Get Your Heart On!'
#23. Panic! At The Disco- 'Vices & Virtues'
#22. Jay-Z & Kanye West- 'Watch The Throne'
#21. Pitbull- 'Planet Pit'
#20. Selena Gomez- 'When The Sun Goes Down'
#19. Beyoncé- '4'
18. Jennifer Lopez- 'Love?'
Started out in the top 10, but like these next 3 albums.. they're amazing, but as the year went by.. my love slowly went with it. 'Love?' is filled with some awesome party songs, a few mid-tempos, and shows that NO BALLADS ARE ALLOWED!!!
Top 5:
5. I'm Into You (ft. Lil Wayne)
4. Until It Beats No More
3. On The Floor (ft. Pitbull)
2. Good Hit 1. Papi
17. Kelly Clarkson- 'Stronger'
'Stronger' isn't her strongest album, that's 'All I Ever Wanted', but hey, second place isn't bad. There are maybe 2 to 4 songs that kind of ruin the mood during the flow of the tracklist, but there's more content so that somewhat makes up for it.
Top 5:
5. Standing In Front Of You
4. What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)
3. Dark Side
2. I Forgive You 1. You Can't Win
16. Adele- '21'
As Adele got more and more overrated and overplayed on the radio, my obsession and constant plays for the album started to fall constantly until they turned into little to nothing. But the album is great and deserves the spectacular sales and an era that anyone could only wish they would have.
Top 5:
5. Rumour Has It
4. Rolling In The Deep
3. Someone Like You
2. I'll Be Waiting 1. Set Fire To The Rain
15. Britney Spears- 'Femme Fatale'
One of her best albums', it's hard to choose which is the best. The singles were all great decisions even though the era and sales weren't anything impressive. Though out of all the songs, only my top 5 are worthy enough to put in a list of the best Britney songs of all time.
Top 5:
5. Criminal / Hold It Against Me
4. Gasoline
3. I Wanna Go
2. Till The World Ends 1. Don't Keep Me Waiting
