Gaga's shows in 2011 alone practically outgrossed Katy's entire world tour and she was on her last leg and finishing the tour up.

You're seriously going to sit there and act like The Fame Monster didn't change the way people view pop music? That The Fame Monster and its theatricality didn't bring back what MJ started? Katy's entire image since TFM has been revolved around doing a watered down version of what Gaga has already done.
And honestly, I'm not even trying to shade 'cause I like Katy and all, but it's BS when people try to belittle the massive worldwide impact The Fame Monster had on pop culture.

It's still selling, yet it's struggling to outsell them? Longevity is only impressive if you're actually pulling in decent numbers. The Fame Monster only needed three singles to sell over 5m+ WW.
