well some people are really trying to downgrade LG's success by setting a high bar for her.
Well, she only had 2 #1, and even BR (lead from the EP) didn't hit #1.
We all know she isn't a number 1 artist because:
1 - public buys her album
2 - singles sales are front-loaded
3 - radio picks her singles slowly - she isn't radio queen we all know
4 - no discounts / last minute remixes for singles

TEOG, YAI all did very well and everyone is saying she's on decline.
well we should see. For next album, we'll see where Katy is, where Rihanna is and where Gaga is.

Nina Sky debuted in 2004 and never had a #1 hit. There highest song only peaked @ #17 on Billboard. While Beenie Man was only popular in the UK and his biggest US hit was a duet with Janet Jackson in 2002. 2003 was when Crunk exploded started to take over. While Rihanna debuted in 2005. That was like trying to have an R&B hit in 2008. When that scene's peak pasted 3 years prior to her debut.
