I know he's been working on the album for some time but I wonder when he planned the rollout because it seems like everything is happening so fast and I'm curious as to how far he plans to stick with this era (hopefully a little longer than BBTM).

uh, the song is not really good as a lead single but it's somehow catchy, this feels like one of the album tracks from his last album, I'm excited anyway he always delivers in some way

Abel is talking about the $1.2 million McLaren P1, a car he was spotted driving earlier in 2016. It seems to be the same car he recieved as a gift during his post-Grammy party.

“P1” is also a double entendre. P1 cocaine, named after an English gang that smuggled it, is very pure, or clean, cocaine. The Weeknd is known for his love of cocaine, even talking about it later on this song, and he only buys the cleanest kind.
