Some of you are confused. She definitely heard some variation of the "I made that [something] famous" part. That's why she references him not knowing who she was in the phone leak. What she claims she didn't hear is the actual word "bitch". She KNOWS he was going to talk about him making her famous and SHE CONSENTED TO THAT. She pretended she was OK with it even though she went to the Grammy's all in a huff ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE taking credit for her fame - NOT about being called a bitch. She's 100% still a snake.
Taylor encourages him several times to do what he thinks is best with the lyrics:
Quote:
"Umm, yeah I mean go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue in cheek either way."
|
Quote:
"I don't think anyone would listen to that and be like that's a real diss she must be crying. You've gotta tell the story the way that it happened to you and the way that you experienced it. You honestly didn't know who I was before that. It doesn't matter that I sold 7 million of that album before you did that which is what happened, you didn't know who I was before that. It's fine."

Obviously she is referencing the Famous line directly here, not the "still have sex line". She says it's not a real diss.
Quote:
"You guys want to call this a feud; you want to call this throwing shade but right after the song comes out I'm going to be on a Grammys red carpet and they're going to ask me about it and I'll be like, ‘He called me.' It's awesome that you're so outspoken about this and be like, ‘Yeah, she does. It made her famous.' Its more provocative to say ‘might still have sex…' It's doesn't matter to me. There's not like one [line] that hurts my feelings and one that doesn't."

The biggest evidence of her being a liar, she directly references the "diss" line and says she'll be in on it, then she's obviously not at the Grammy's. She even ENCOURAGES him to pick whatever is MORE PROVOCATIVE.
Where is she telling him to keep it tame? Why is she telling him to be more provocative if she's so sensitive? She is implying that she's okay with whatever line because she's a big girl who's feelings aren't that easily hurt. She literally says "do whatever you think is best" not "absolutely clear whatever you finally end up choosing because I need to know before you put it out".
What's highly ironic is that she's more ok with consenting to the idea that her and Kanye might still have sex than being called the scary B word. Because sleeping with a married man with kids almost double her age who took credit for her fame is less of a big deal than being called a bitch by a rapper. That's where she draws the line, you know, if he had described them having sex in vivid provocative detail she'd be okay with it because welp at least she wasn't called a bitch!
LASTLY - The Life of Pablo was edited and re-edited MANY times, I have so many damn versions of this album because he kept fiddling with it constantly. If she was that upset, why didn't she have the DECENCY to say so before now and he would have just edited the track like he did a million times?? Does anyone else forget that the album was out publicly while it was still being edited?! It was well known that he kept annoyingly fiddling with it and he could have so obviously changed the line if Taylor called him up like "ok we discussed the other lines but i'm really not ok with being called a bitch, relationships over punchlines am i right? plz change it".
tl;dr: She's a bitch and a snake, and it simply wouldn't play into the character she's playing. She's seizing the loop hole now but the ultra feminist didn't take a few seconds to touch on the bitch thing in the last 6 months because her soul was too crushed to handle it. But oh the **** shaming! She went hard on that narrative since it rattled her so much. Since, ya know, she was actually offended.
