This is not remotely single material, but it is by far one of the quirkiest and most spirited songs she has recorded in ages. The production is so engaging. It kind of reminds me of "Hot As Ice" with the odd vocals and beat, but also in that you can tell she is so into it and loving it. The vocals definitely don't bother me in context like they did in the commercial, but I am also quite aware of what her full-bodied, un-autotuned voice sounds like and this is definitely it. As much as I thought I would loathe this song, I am really feeling the opposite.
Work it, work it, boy watch me work it
Slide down my pole, watch me spin it and twerk it
Work it, work it, boy watch me work it
Slide down my pole, watch me spin it and twerk it
I legit did not know she could do a song like this anymore.
I want to kiss the feet of these producers! Who are they?
SAME YO SAME.
The fact that Young and Carla literally combined Motown (My ****ing favorite) and How I Roll (My ****ing favorite) and Baby/Oops ad-libs (My ****ing favorite) actually got me emotional.
