You're completely glossing over the same thing each time: the statistics would mark the Asian as somebody who is likely to like rice. Just like the stats would mark a man who worships Britney Spears as a likely homosexual. What is so hard to understand about that? For example, if somebody is from Québec, the stats would mark them as a likely Francophone. Does that mean that every resident of Québec is a Francophone? No! But the vast vast majority
are. If you meet somebody from Québec, there's a high chance they speak French.

Would you judge one person for being racist equally as harshly as you would judge someone for assuming his friend to be gay for loving pop music?
