Congrats. Canada's drinking age, however, is 19. So all of us up here have been buying liquor legally for a while. I always forget the States has an older age limit.
Call it the 20+ club, call it the ATRL Retirement Home, call it what you like - but there's been a general consensus in the Post Your Age thread that we need a place like this. Don't get us wrong, you chillun' are fun and all, but there is only so much we can relate to you with when some of y'all were born a decade or so after us. I can guarantee there will be no "my school blocks ATRL!" in this thread, since some of us are done school, and have our own damn places.
So oldies, get in. We can discuss jobs, paying bills, and our impending hip replacements.

It's so abstract compared to the rest of the courses I'm taking. It is a useful class but I hate fields that try to rationalize human behaviour which is irrational by nature. Just my two cents.
Over 100 people applied, and I was not in the Top 5 (Top 10 instead). And since they only accepted 5 people, I was rejected.
I feel a bit weird, and excited. This is the first time I've been stopped in my tracks school wise. I mean, I went from undergrad to graduate school without a problem.
On the plus side, I may be able to get in if I get the grant I applied for in March. I'm going to have to fight a bit, but I think it's possible.
In any case, taking time off to work for a year, and make money isn't so bad. I can apply again.
After all, I'm only 23 so I do have time. But still. Kinda sucks.
