I've already explained the significance of the ritual of marriage. Being bi myself I have nothing against two people of the same sex being together, I just respect the customs of the Church. They mean something. I'm not going to fight and demand a custom with a specific meaning to change simply because I want to be with a specific someone. That's ludicrous and darn right silly.

I agree with both of you, because there are a lot of interpretations of the word of God, as the big differences between Popes, Cardinals, etc show. There are multiple versions/translations/interpretations of the Bible and the word of God, there is no right way but your own. If you live your life as you deem appropriate then it's okay.

That's your opinion but most of the LGBT that wants to get marry don't want a simple paper, they want to experience marriage too because it is a special union.
In the future same sex marriage will happen so there is no reason to keep arguing.

It already happens. That's why there is always new denominations being created. To satisfy want man wants instead of celebrating what God has done. God created the miracle of new life through the vehicles of man and woman. That's what marriage in the Church represents. You want a ritual marriage, become a Buddhist; they don't believe in the concept of a God the Creator.
