Madonna and Katy [Perry both have a whirlwind of hits but Katy Perry's career seems to be going well while Madonna's last album sold very poorly. Katy Perry's voice is obviously more distinct and she is a much stronger visual artist (Her whipped cream boobs > Madonna's weird cone bra thingy) but Madonna is more respected. Tbh I just heard of Madonna like a year ago and have only herd 1 of her songs on the radio (the one about prayers). I've always known who the ICONIC Katy is.
