She should just minimize her use of social media. Who cares what the internet thinks? Just make music you love. Certifications and chart positions aren't indicative of success anyway. The mere fact that people are listening is success itself.
Her Glamour interview simply backfired on her. She tried to piggy back off the Taylor drama in July with calvin, katy, kanye and kim and continue it to October. She probably thought she'd at least get a shady katy tweet, or kim saying go head regina george but no one chimed in to her defense. Instead she got called out by Perez and fans attacked her. Something tells me she's learned her lesson. She got no support whatsoever from any celebrity, not even the one she called herself defending, and that says a lot. Katy has never missed an opportunity to throw shade at Taylor on twitter, until now. Why didn't Katy support her?
What a blatant lie. Dangerous Woman outsold every Confident single in the US and WW and it's still selling 7k weekly in the US alone. Into You is close to outselling every Confident single WW (still selling well in the US too), and Side To Side will at least outsell every Confident single WW and maybe in the US too. And let's not even talk about album sales, touring stats, or streaming.
Into You was discounted for two weeks and Dangerous Woman was NEVER discounted once.
There was a thread 3 days ago about the very fact that none of Ariana's singles had outsold Confident in ths US, so you should at least check your numbers before calling it a 'blatant lie'.
Quote:

Confident: 973k

Into You is already above 500k+
Dangerous Woman is already around 980k:

Into You has sold 520k in the US and those Dangerous Woman sales don't include the Complete My Album sales.
It doesn't matter though because even if we went by those sales, Dangerous Woman will still outsell Confident, considering it's doing 7k weekly while Confident is only doing 1k weekly. I don't know why 2015 singles are being compared to 2016 singles anyway.
im sorry but a decade into her career and she still cant figure out her sound, she should probably do something else. Just cuz you have a good voice doesnt mean you should be a singer.
EDIT: also, what single of hers went 4x platinum? and an album going gold with streaming included is no longer an achievement to be proud of.
Everyone does the most. Just because she isn't the biggest star in the world doesn't mean that she "doesn't sell" or she is some huge flop and completely irrelevant.
She still had a #11 single and #2 album in her last era. People need to get some perspective.
I think she needs a long break far from media and internet. Her fame is clearly too much for her, she can't bear it. It's clear that when you are a publicly known figure you will get a lot of attention and it's obvious that some of the attention be negative. If she takes it all too personally, it might have bad consenquences on her mental health in the future.Demi needs to learn how to stay above haters, or quit.
