There are always essays - it's a huge part of the game, and rightfully so...I know when I vote it's very rarely JUST based on the song itself, but more-so how convinced I am by the essay.

Yep. It will always be required. Now, you don't have to do so. No one has but if you want to convince people of your choice, if you want to justify yourself, if you want to present your album to anyone, you'll have to! It's essential

(I wasn't convinced by your essay. As for the song I think this wouldn't showcase Sia's abilities properly. I love the song though.)

This round is so great. I have a very hard time choosing even just one song to vote off Splendid job everyone!
OFF: 
Nobody's Home (this is actually one of the most polarizing Avril songs for me. There were a lot of other better choices)
Moments (Great song but your essay needed much more work.)
Talk About Our Love (I'm sorry because I didn't want to add up to those who voted you off but your essay just lacked substance)
All In A Day's Work (I really like the songs I've heard from Danity Kane but not this song. You had a good essay but it didn't really convince me enough and with a set as good as this and a lot of off votes vacant, I just had to. I'm sorry)
