The bitch has the nerve to say that Bill Cosby show had more impact, Bill Cosby show is a local US show that had zero impact outside the US, nobody knows that show outside the US. The only mark the Bill Cosby show will have is that the main actor on the show is a disgusting rapist and abuser towards women.

Friends was a huge worldwide global show, all actors were well know around the world, the shows rating were massive and the show goes on re runs in like ever country it has been aired on to this day. Its an iconic show.

It's so not overrated. It's actually one of the best shows ever. I can still watch it from beginning to end to this day.

I never got the appeal of the Raymond or Seinfield show though.

In addition, the impact of Friends is so undeniable that all the 6 cast members have had their own shows/stared in movies after and are still relevant to this day.

Aniston had a Golden Globe nomination in 2014.
LeBlanc had a GG win in 2012, nom in 2013 and Emmy nom in 2013 and 2014.
Kudrow had an emmy nom in 2012.
Cox had a GG nom in 2009.
Perry had an emmy nom in 2007.

They all had (positive) impact beyond Friends.

I'm sorry, but Friends is SO much better than Seinfeld. Some of the humor in Friends is kinda corny (mainly regarding Chandler), but the vast majority of it still holds up and is still funny.

Seinfeld on the other hand....you can immediately tell that it was taken off the air nearly 20 years ago.

My mother's family RELIGIOUSLY watched the show while it was still on the air (never miss a re-run), and they are full-blooded, 100% Hispanic. My mom's best friend would never miss it either and she's Black, yet she loved it then and still loves it to this day. If you don't like it, fine, but there is no denying that it is the most popular and influential sitcom of all-time. The fact that the current generation even enjoys watching it while other massively popular sitcoms aren't even heard of by them shows how influential and withstanding it is.
