I never said that it was okay to use such jokes but that those jokes are frequently used by people out there who they they're funny(well i've heard them more than once). Ironically enough the people using those jokes are typically blacks so..

Someone before me commented that they've never heard the joke before. I simply stated that it was common meaning that i've hears it a multiple times. Never did I say that it was okay or in any way shape or form defending the use of the joke.

People on this site acting outraged like his behavior is abnormal for a kid his age This is the norm for kids nowadays.

Sure it is ignorant, but ****, go into any middle school or high school here in NewYork and you will see blacks, hispanics, and whites talking like this. If you want to do something then go get active in your community, get involved in a mentoring or education system, and make a difference. What is you using .gifs and clocking people in an ATRL thread going to do about the use of the "n" word.

Nobody is hurt. I think people are annoyed by the idiocy of excusing him, shifting the blame or downplaying what occurred. I've never heard anyone at all (let alone someone black) tell a racist joke about a chainsaw. I don't know what race you are, but it seems like non-blacks are the ones saying it's "common". Even if that were the case, that doesn't make it less offensive. Racism is always going to be wrong and offensive. There's no "but" to it. When you try to throw a "but" out there when it comes to racism, of course you're going to catch flack. I see common sense isn't "common"...

Please use a dictionary and find the definition for "common".
Please tell me if you find a dictionary that defines it as making something acceptable because its frequently used. Again i never said it was ok, simply stated that i've heard the joke before.

Most african-americans use those "jokes" among themselves frequently though.
However that does not make it okay for anyone to use them.
