If Damita Jo came out 3 years later it would have only sold half as much as it did. You can't compare '04 cd sales with '07 cd sales.

oh jeez, Discipline shipped a million copies before it was even released okay, but it only sold 650k. Therefore the platinum certification was unwarranted and undeserved. Don't try and be a smart alec, I know what I'm saying.

Curtains is not too bad....

but are you kidding me? Where is an "All 4 You" quality CD? Let alone where is an all 4 you quality single... that video was crazy good. Dancing, body, song, everything.
I honestly think Damita Jo as an album was better than this.
The single 2nite on this album is better than all of Damita Jo, but in comparison as CDs... this loses.

One thought I got from listening to these interludes though,
I'd like to see Janet in a flick like The Fifth Element.
I think she'd be amazing in a futuristic film... so many of her videos have that same theme anyway. ie. Just a Little While, Call on Me
Hopefully she gets some good roles soon.

^It makes me really sad to say this but I agree with you and I encourage others to download this album instead of buying it. Stop supporting her because she's obviously never going to learn what's worth our money and what isn't. I appreciate some of her decisions still but I'm also very ashamed of her for setting the standard so high with Control through AFY and then in the last 5 years recycling the same old half-hearted garbage and expecting loyal fans to fork over their $.
