Newt! Ma buddy from the J/K-pop thread. He's a J-pop fan and a big Utada Hikaru stan and I'm quite sure that he resents Ayumi Hamasaki for being the Japan's Empress of Pop and not Utada given that whenever some Ayu news is mentioned 9/10 he has some smart alecky remark, such as
"I'm not here for Ayumi 
" Screams resentment.
Since Ayumi and Utada are like the two most renowned female artists in Japan (Ayumi being more renowned and successful and influential and def more beautiful) (Ayumi in Hikki have been long-time pitted against each other in a "versus" kind of way in the Japanese media. go to Google and put in: Utada Hikaru vs, and the autocomplete feature pops up and fills it in with "Ayumi Hamasaki"
anyway) and I stan for Ayu and he stans for Utada, we tend to clash sometimes but it's never anything really serious and it's always fun. He's very friendly and we get along very well. He is a cool cat
