The UN justified the existence of Israel, how are we living on illegal settlements?

You guys claim to be humanitarian and moderate, modern people, but you can't really listen to the other side and you are full of thought that you are right and others don't you just ignore them. Since the begging of this so called war I have never really heard from you guys why is it not OK for Israel to defend herself against Hamas, who launch rockets over Israeli citizens for over 14 years, and even more in the last 9 years. You are saying we bomb them but you forget or ignore the fact they bomb us, at first, and before people thought of inventing the Iron Dome... moreover, you guys forget they are hurting innocents as well, that's their purpose, when we are doing the best to avoid that. They want people, their people and our people to get hurt in order to get your support, and it's sad they are succeeding.

Obviously we're not going to watch your Israeli-produced videos in Hebrew that will tell us why Palestine is all big and bad. I don't like Hamas either, but I also don't like the Israeli government. Hamas is launching homemade rockets that are easily avoidable since Israel has a top of the line alarm system, the Iron Dome like you mentioned, and most importantly, actual space to get away from the danger. The citizens of Gaza have 25 miles of land, and when they run away from the bombs to hospitals, mosques, and schools, they get bombed anyways. That's why I look at Hamas in a slightly less bad light than the Israeli government, but that doesn't mean I support Hamas. All I want is for the Palestinian people to have a country that they don't have to constantly fight for, and where they don't have to go through Israeli checkpoints just to get to schools, hospitals, and jobs. It should be easy, but with Israeli settlements taking over the land and a large Israeli army presence (even when the two aren't actively fighting) makes things hard.
