Calvin used her as an example of being destroyed by Taylor so wtf is she on about? Also the fact that Taylor just took credit for a song she wrote why is she even being dragged at all?

It's kind of surprising that Swifites are showing themselves to be so illiterate. If you read his tweet again it says she will "try and bury another person like Katy ETC."

He's indicating she ATTEMPTED to bury Katy with all the tabloids and then Bad Blood single + MV. Stop reading what you want to read, it's almost as embarrassing as your fave being so damn obsessed with Katy over some damn back up dancers.
Katy is too big of a star for Taylor to just "bury" and she has pretty much 80% of the same fanbase as Taylor Swift aka teenage white girls. If you really think they're all going to ditch Katy for Taylor like some ATRL mess, then you are delusional. She doesn't hold that kind of power. Katy's career is exactly the same as it was, it's Taylor whose is taking dents in her career. If she keeps showing her image to be fake, she'll get less support.
I've seen countless people talk about loving Taylor for being a kind of loving person. If it gets exposed that all of that is strictly for media and she's actually a mean and calculating person, she will get huge backlash. Worry about your own fave falling apart instead of Katy.

I don't know why you guys are trying to convince yourselves of this fan fiction mess, it's clearly Calvin being petty (as he has done in the past) and trying to shade. Again, Taylor has never been afraid to call someone out in a song, she's done it before. And she didn't do it in Bad Blood, she wrote it very generalized and vague to make it more relatable. The video is simply a plot to go with it, it isn't ~trying to take Katy down~. Not to mention, she literally didn't mention her once in the 1989 era...the only time she mentioned something that people speculated to be Katy was in an interview at the very beginning of the era when she was describing the background of the songs on the album.

Wow, seriously you should like...go out in the real world sometime or something? It's like the only thing you do is stick your head up pop star's asses (more like Gaga and Taylor). You can be a Swiftie and admit she isn't a perfect person. Katy knows its about her, Calvin just confirmed it was about her (do you really think they dated for a year and Katy never came up?), Katy and Taylor's mutual friends get awkward as hell if its ever mentioned because IT IS ABOUT KATY.

And you're fuming over nothing...reading comprehension is your friend. I literally never said the song wasn't about Katy. I said that Taylor never candidly said the song was about Katy. Yes, Katy was the inspiration behind the song. But Taylor did say that she didn't put any overt call outs in that song because she wanted people to relate to it to times they had been betrayed in their own lives. And that's 100% true, there are no specific call outs in that song, and nobody would have known it was about Katy from the lyrics alone....it is written very vaguely and generally, because Taylor wanted it to be relatable to people. She isn't afraid to be specific and call people out in songs, she's been doing it since the beginning of her career.
I said it wasn't ~trying to take Katy down~, like a lot of you are insinuating and saying she's obsessed and had some master plan to ruin Katy's career. She wrote a song inspired by what she went through with her.

Taylor never candidly said the song was about Katy, but people knew the moment they heard it that it was about her. Like I remember when 1989 was released, going on tumblr, and seeing Bad Blood all over Katy's tag. But I mean... Katy never said the tweet was about Taylor either, so there you go.

People didn't know the moment they heard it.  There were people speculating it was about Harry Styles at that point. There's literally no specificity or reason to believe it's about her from the lyrics alone....that's the whole thing I'm trying to say, she purposely wrote it without any call outs because she wanted people to be able to relate it to situations in their own lives where they felt betrayed. (She said that herself). It was after an interview she gave talking about the songs on the album, and people connected the dots.
She wasn't trying to ~take Katy down~ with the song's release, that is literally all made up conspiracy theories and fan fiction, teas of the Britney fans saying Gaga was trying to steal Britney's spotlight and destroy her in 2011 . They have their own careers, it isn't high school.
Bad Blood was a very radio friendly song, one of the more broad single worthy songs on the album, and it charted higher than the other album tracks when the album came out so why wouldn't she release it as a single? It's success proves it. She wanted to make a big music video, the fact that her famous friends are in it has literally nothing to do with Katy. No other song would have worked for the type of video she made for Bad Blood...the song is about betrayal, so she made a superhero themed video about betrayal. There is literally no mention or reference to Katy in any of it.
