"Sitting across a bar staring right at her prey
It's going well so far, she's gonna get her way
Nocturnal creatures are not so prudent
The moon's my teacher, and I'm her student "
Personal Comment: Here's Shakira's last entry on this year's best of countdown. She Wolf / Loba is the first and highly anticipated single from Shakira's lastest album entitled the same. I really loved Shakira's last two albums Oral Fixation 1 and 2, so i had to check this one out and it's great too, and one of my favorites of the year. I like Loba better than She Wolf though, but here's Shakira at #7 with She Wolf.
"They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious"
Personal Comment: And here comes Muse again coming for that top 10 hit on my end year countdow (again). To be completely honest, the only song from Muse that i like better than this one is Invincible, Uprising is an uptempo song with great lyrics and an amazng music video. I loved the concept of the video and i thinks it was really funny too, so i'm glad this single was a hit.

"BLACK HEART INERTIA"
MONUMENTS AND MELODIES
On Joel's Weekly Top 20: Weeks: 19 Peak: 1[1]
"Pulled by a false inertia
Pushed out by circumstance
Pistol firing at my feet
That’s coercing me to dance"
Personal Comment: Black Heart Inertia is Incubus' first and only single from their lastest greatest hits album Monuments and Melodies. The album has all their best and most recognizable songs on it, and it brings a tear to my eye when i see the tracklisting. Black Heart Inertia is, of course, an original song never heard before, and it rocked my classroom out as it was everyone's jam in here, and i'm glad it did because it's a great song and single choice. I'll be looking forward to their next studio album.
