Gemini Feed starting off the top 50 I agree that The Altar was disappointing but whew, she came thru on that one.
Formation is obviously a slay as well
Let me catch up Anxiety, Big Black Coat, Boyfriend and basically everything from this page are my fav songs Aside from Panda's albums, Sleep Cycle is the best AnCo-related release from this decade. Serpent Music and TCIN were nice. And HOPELESSNESS should be higher.
this comment you are everything, please don't stop
well you did ask me to read it
Crying in Public is great
For All We Know is a brilliant album. I find it quite soothing
four ethers being only the 87th best song of the year is quite frankly a tragedy
Jessica Rabbit is very enjoyable!
Break is SUCH a cute song I love the video
Sin Rumbo is sooooo David Lynch
"If their next album sounds exactly like this, though... they can keep it."
Aluna and Ariana
I personally feel like with 99.9%, although it was cohesive, it felt like more of a collection of songs rather than an album
all cupcakKe love
Fade Away thank you so much
Demon City is so damn good
Go Off is one of the better tracks off of AIM, I guess
All My Friends is cute, but it's also kinda...unoriginal idk
MY WOMAN yaaaaaaaaas what an album
#37 is a pretty good position for Dangerous Woman. it ended up being higher on my list than I'd expected it to be. TBY deserves to be in that highlight list though
Ashes of Love all this PC representation makes me cry all over the floor
Hotter Than Hell is such a BOP
and I Wanna Be is such a BOP
and Sorry is such a BOP
CRYBABY and Fade are both great. although Fade is the definition of a grower, it was lowkey horrible at first
Dedekind Cut - '$UCCESSOR' - really need to listen to this
Boyfriend is so cute!
After the AfterParty being this high up I love it but I thought everyone hated it slay!
Jesus Alone
Gemini Feed the piano intro is EVERYTHING. it's a work of art
Romeo rip Chairlift
the Skeleton Tree/Blackstar/You Want It Darker comparisons are so eerie, I always think about it
ANOHNI being that low is kinda triggering
I hate coming out and saying this but I've always considered Formation to be one of my least favourite tracks on LEMONADE. I love it, but at the same time, I don't find the instrumentation that pleasant to listen to
SHUT UP KISS ME HOLD ME TIGHT!!!! - fave
omg you love Val Kilmer, have you seen TWIXT???
I don't think The Colour in Anything's length is justified because it does feel overly long but there's enough great material in there to make it brilliant. It's really quite beautiful.
After listening to that Shura album once I felt meh about and forgot about it for months, but suddenly got into it like a month ago, underrated release! Gemini Feed is my favorite song from this set, that chorus has been stuck in my head all year n
Demasiado Solange acá
James Blake <33333333333333333333333
OMG Tilted es épica
Asco con Formation xD
Triángulo de Amor Bizarro SIS!!! <3 pendeja, si los escuchás tenés que escuchar a Love Of Lesbian ASAP
"Gemini Feed" is truly one of the year's best songs, it's so dark, atmospheric and kinda unusual. I must listen to more Banks stuff to see if the rest of her stuff has the same quality.

Eh... it really doesn't most of the time. But you should listen to "Mind Games", "Better", "Waiting Game", "Alibi" and "Brain" if you want more of that Banks!

Slay. Also I haven't seen TWIXT but I need to!

Claro que hay mucho Solange, el talento siempre gana. Love Of Lesbian escuché hace un tiempo pero no me impresionó mucho Tal vez le tenga que dar otra escuchada, algún dia.

You forgot to put Lemonade and A Seat At The Table in your top 30 albums, and I'm pretty sure you didn't put ANTI, so I guess that's fair.

Formation is obviously a slay as well
#40. James Blake feat. Bon Iver - "Gemini Feed” Genre: Art Pop, Ambient Pop, Electronic
I always thought James Blake and Bon Iver made a great team. And this song proved it for everyone.
#39. felicita - "A New Family" Genre: Bubblegum Bass, Electro-Industrial, Glitch Pop
"Sticky Drama" falls into a pit and dies. Nah just kidding but this song is probably Felicita's best.
#20. Huerco S. - 'For Those Of You...'
Genre: Ambient, Electronic, Ambient Dub, Ambient House
Label: Proibito || Country: USA
His dance records were unique (and tended to be great), but I can also understand how sticking to a single box/concept/genre can be tiring. So, after releasing a few more EP’s and singles, he finally released his third album, 'For Those of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have)’, and in it he definitely rejects the concept of club-oriented music altogether, to make a minimal Ambient record. Don’t get me wrong though, this being an “ambient” record doesn’t make it any less interesting than anything he’s done before. This is probably my favourite project of his yet, and I’m interested in his future projects whether they have something to do with house music or not.
Highlights: “Lifeblood”, “Hear Me Out”, “Kraanvogel”, “Cubist Camouflage”, “Promises of Fertility”
You’ll like it if you like: Aphex Twin, Gas, Global Communications, Tim Hecker, Brian Eno
Now why is this song better than anything AnCo have made since 'Merriwheater Post Pavilion'?
#19. Chairlift - 'Moth'
Genre: Synthpop, Art Pop, Alternative R&B, Glitch Pop, Indie Pop
Label: Epic || Country: USA
Synthpop duo Chairlift produced Beyoncé’s “No Angel”, from her 2013 self-titled album, which, for sure brought them a lot of exposure, and probably affected the way they write Pop songs. Meanwhile, Polachek released a solo album, 'Arcadia’, under the name Ramona Lisa, in 2014, a weird, but wonderful experimental-pop record with beautiful vocal performances, as usual. But 'Moth’ has both their most accessible, pop-oriented moments, and their weirdest, most experimental at the same time. No in-between. And, while I get why some people could consider that not to be a good thing, as a whole the record still manages to be cohesive and coherent, giving it a nice sense of… I guess, duality? Or something, that makes this album not only one of the contenders for “Best Pop Album of the Year: 2016 Edition”, but makes this their best record.
R.I.P. Chairlift.
Highlights: “Look Up”, “Polymorphing”, “Romeo”, “Ch-Ching”, “Moth to the Flame”, “Show U Off”, “No Such Thing As Illusion”
You’ll like it if you like: Carly Rae Jepsen and FKA twigs at the same time, Jessie Ware, Grimes
