I think Bad Romance is going #1 because she's been the #1 song on iTunes for the past week and still going. AND the album is out.
i mean just cuz you number 1 on itunes doesn't mean anything tho for example Party In The USA was number 1 for how long and still didn't hit #1 on the hot 100?
I guess it takes time to grow. I think Paparazzi is as good as BR. Therefore, it takes time before Paparazzi's popularity fades away and BR starts to shine. Either way, both are smashing!
And to add a point, Billboard is crazy, just see, Chris Brown was their 2008 Artist of The Year and all he had in 2008 was 2 songs at #2 and a #43 peaks, and a #1 Hot 100 Airplay, While we had for example: Flo Rida's "LOW" at #1 for 10 weeks + 4 weeks at #1 on Hot 100 Airplay, 7 weeks at top for Katy Perry and "I Kissed A Girl", Rihanna topped the Hot 100 chart with three different songs and #1 on Hot 100 Airplay with two different songs...
Maybe what gave Chris was the quantity not quality, So, It makes Lady Gaga a considerable option!

So tomorrow we find out who tops the Hot 100. But if this week's positions are based on LAST week's performance, how come we don't know now?

The chart released every Thursday uses digital/physical single sales up until the previous Sunday midnight/Monday morning 00:00
And we don't know because nobody knows how much the songs sold, exactly, and you need to combine with airplay points and streaming points. There's a lot of missing information, so once you get the digital chart on Wednesday you get a much clearer prediction but streaming can always make the predicted position incorrect if the points are close.
So is there a small chance BAD ROMANCE could hit #1 since it topped iTunes every day but Monday last week? And since it's doing pretty well on the radio?
^ Will it be released on Thanksgiving?! That's a little crazy. Most people will be focused on Macy's parades, turkey, and afternoon football games. I think it should be released Wednesday night.
