Katy's music is fine, but it's so gimmicky, formulaic and above all... bland. Prisms second half is crammed full of nothing but dry, by the numbers pop music. Not saying her music is bad some of it is REALLY good, but those moments are few and far between; especially on Prism.

Gaga (for the most part) is absolutely fearless when it comes to her music and she doesn't hold back. Number one's aside, Katy's never going to put anything out as meaty as TFM or ARTPOP.

Some churches didn't like it but there was no widespread controversy. At all. Radio and the GP embraced it heavily. Again, stop rewriting history.

It was a risk, and one that paid off. The label didn't want to release it at the start because they thought it'd get no airplay

Except Gaga did it during what was her largest era at the time and on Easter week, proving who's riskier. Stop trying to make IKAG bigger than it was, things were not that different 6 years ago.
