Hell, they ALMOST made it. They basically missed out on the top 100 because I missed out on a few songs that I thought were on the top 100 already.

That's exactly why the album is in my HM, despite having not listened to
Ghost Stories. It could very well be their last. And dammit, I will listen to GS before I listen to the next album! I PROMISE!

Also Adele depending on her first single.

Well, considering that her first US single was "Chasing Pavements" and the first single off of
21 was "Rolling in the Deep", I don't think we have anything to worry about there.

If you are ever strapped for cash, you could go join the self-help circuit and put out a book/lecture under that title! I don't know how you could make that appeal to other people, unless your audience just solely consists of Jack White and you ask him to pay you $500,000. Hey, i've heard worse plans!

Hey, you made a believer out of me! Maybe we could also make believers out of others! BEN AND RED TAKE OVER THE SELF-HELP CIRCUIT! COMING IN 2015!

Technically, wasn't Metallica's last album Lulu

I have a feeling that you're REALLY going to like my YECA Era list, if I ever get to post it. Oh, and yes,
Lulu is TECHNICALLY their last album. Why do you think Metallica's not in the top five, despite having a past YECA #1 album?

And I feel the same way like you about Ellie's next album. My heart broke when I saw what she did with Halcyon Days, such a huge step down from Halcyon which was so refreshing and original. I hope she's done with her EDM field trip now.
|
Well, the last I heard, Ellie's going to build off of
Halcyon and not
Halcyon Days. Fingers crossed.

Yes! I don't even care anymore about what sound he's going to be doing, I know he'll deliver once again.

I'm particularly stoked for this next album, because all I'm hearing is that it's a "return to form" for Kanye. His form never left, of course (I loved both MBDTF AND
Yeezus), but I'm still excited all the same.

R I will buy you a steak dinner if we get new Tool, Metallica and Radiohead albums next year. Heck, even one of those would be tubular. Kanye and Muse are realistic, so those would be my most anticipated. I'm still on Team Muse with you!
|
I may give you Metallica and Radiohead, but Tool's next album is coming out in 2015. I can feel it. The lawsuit they've been dealing with is practically over, and that was the last major obstacle preventing a new release. DAMMIT, O, DON'T KILL MY HOPES! I NEED THIS!

Oh god, yes. Those songs are going to be absolutely MAGICAL.
Okay, I'm going to try and comment on the year enders of those who have commented and I HAVEN'T commented on, and then, this next update will be coming shortly after. THIS IS HAPPENING.
