I'm just glad you guys are enjoying this new Lana but I'm not feeling it.

I missed the beautiful melodies in her songs. I missed the rich THICK and DEEP velvety tone her voice used to have. I missed the fact that her voice so was CALM, soft and beautiful.

All the BTD and paradise songs are catchy in one way or another and all the songs even with HUGE beats are very calming and easy to listen to and never overshadow her wonderful voice.


Now her voice is all over the place. even the ad libs sound terrible. Off key, thin, NASALLY.

The production are so loud and grating on the ears . Very unpleasant. Reminds me of BTW and Artpop. I'm not saying the sound the same (not stupid hihi)

It's just that they are very jarring and not catchy at all.

im gonna chime in and say i'm not really into any of lana's new music. this new song is so blah and so was west coast--i feel that there's really nothing to grab onto--no memorable melodies especially. oh well.

There have to be some upbeat songs on the album--not necessarily FUN or HAPPY, but upbeat nonetheless. Like OOTR or DMD, which are both uptempo.

This is not classic Lana

She's dropped the hybrid lyricism and production in these first two releases. It's beautiful and great music, I just don't feel as if it is as unique as the music she released originally.
