What we should think about re: Me Too.

1) Me Too has just done badly on Spotify, peaking at #67. It's done far worse than Dear Future Husband and Marvin Gaye while outpeaking both on the Hot 100.
2) Just like MT doing poorly on Spotify doesn't mean that the GP hates it, MT doing well on iTunes doesn't mean they like it. Spotify listeners and iTunes users are two sects of the music-consuming public that tend not to overlap. Thus, looking at one metric and making a judgment as to how the public as a whole feels about the song is not very logical.

And although abrahamjmr is right, it should be noted that Spotify is bigger than YouTube. The #200 on YouTube gets roughly 600K streams/week, while the #200 on Spotify garners ~800K. There's no doubt it's the most important streaming service right now.

I get what your point is, but give where credit its due. Me Too is #4 on iTunes with mediocre airplay/streaming support. The song is not getting major Spotify push or Z100 power rotation airplay. Not a recommended trajectory for success these days, but it works for her. Not a smash by any means, but a digital-fueled hit.
