Addict, chilllllllllllll dude. Her not releasing exclusively to Apple Music on the first night it's out does not have any effect on new music of hers ever seeing the light of day. It just means she has a functioning brain that has very reasonably determined "hey, maybe I shouldn't drop my work that I've spent years on in a way that only people with an iPhone/iPad from like 2011 or later running only the latest version of iOS can listen to only if they make an account with this specific service"
Anyways I would be pretty mad since I wasn't going to download w/e the Apple thing is. I could imagine it already, Lady Gaga fans bopping to Adele's new music while I'm crying in the corner unable to hear it
I know, Daydreams, I was just really irritated because I'm so sick of hearing sh*t about the new music and then never actually getting to hear the new music. It's been 4-and-a-half years since 21 and she doesn't say sh*t about new music at all. She doesn't even interact with her fans. Like, I know she's perfectly content with her life, but does she realize that we would kill just to know when she is in the studio and stuff like that? I mean, we know nothing as far as the album goes and when the wait is that long, it's a bit bothersome. You know what I mean? You hear things and you get excited, especially when there's some stuff to back it up. It's just irritating.
And yes, Ichi, that's the one. That's a really good deal. I paid about 4 times as much for my "Make You Feel My Love" CD single. You got it for a great price. You'll enjoy it! Which CD singles of hers do you have again?
I now have Hometown Glory (plus Vinyl), Chasing Pavements, RITD, and MYFML. I need Cold Shoulder but that hasn't been popping up on ebay but no rush

I know what you mean Addict, and I wish we could hear more from her and that rumors were more often and more quickly addressed by her or a rep before they spread all over the place and end in disappointment. But ultimately I don't think any of us would feel any better right now if she had told us she was in the studio back in 2013, and in 2014, and still in 2015, and we were still exactly where we are now. We'd probably feel way more annoyed, actually.
The title of her first blog after recording 21 was "Hello. Thinking Maybe It's Time to Slowly Bring Myself Out of Hiding". That was October, the more recent one before that was posted in January. So yeah, she does this, and it's not fun for us. But, vocal issues aside, 21 was one hell of an era—both musically and otherwise—in the end. I don't expect her to ever join tumblr and start chatting directly to one of us about the state of her music's production or even about Louie's favorite brand of kibble. But, I do believe that she isn't intending to be malicious in her disappearance from the realm of her life we see, and I do have faith that this era's going to be worth the extended period of silence to us as well.

Yeah, I found "Cold Shoulder" on eBay and Amazon, but it's kind of expensive, so I would just wait. And I would get the "Skyfall" CD singles if you don't have either of those yet as well!

Yeah, I agree with you 100%. And honestly, I didn't mean most of what I said. It was just me being angry, which I knew would happen because I believed the rumors again even though I know I shouldn't have. It was my own fault, really. In all honesty, I am so grateful that Adele is taking her time to make an album that's good enough for not only her standards, but also for ours. I wish she did more fan interaction, but at the same time, the secretiveness of the whole project is probably for her own good and ours as well. It would be REALLY nice if we got a single before the end of summer, but I'm not holding my breath. Based on what HDD said, I wouldn't be surprised if she sticks to her normal release schedule again, but I can't imagine completing 2015 without another album from her.

Yeah, I have to say, I was not at all impressed with the first listen because I thought it seemed unauthentic in comparison to her other lead singles, which have all SLAYED me, but "Cool for the Summer" is growing on me big time. Not so much lyrically, but it's insanely catchy; I've had it stuck in my head all day. It's already doing really well. I could totally see this going to number-one.
I agree, Ichi. I was not impressed by it at all at first. I stan for Demi, but I thought it was one of her worst songs ever. But it is a grower. It's insanely catchy and I think it's going to be a big hit.
