Yeah, I mean, a September release is possible, but the only thing it has going for it that the other months don't have is that a rumor has actually been started claiming it's the release month. But they're all pretty much equal at this point. She could release the album whenever the hell she wants.
Unfortunately, it sounds like that rumor about Pharrell might have been true. Although that one says she went to LA solely to work with him, and she was there for a long time. Plus, he said he saw her recently. I don't know. Maybe they really hit it off.... I hope whatever they do is good, though. Judging by some of the decisions he's made on The Voice, I think there's enough proof there that he's musically educated, so I have some faith in him, but if he's going for the same sound that he has, it's not going to work. But he has done some R&B/soul stuff, and if Adele wants to do some happier stuff, he might be a good person to try and bring that out of her.
Besides, given how many different people she's working with, I think it's safe to say she's utilizing every option she has and trying every sound possible to make sure the album is perfect.

Pharrell is actually pretty versatile.
And likely, Adele will do what she did with Paul Epworth. RITD was not the type of song he did. He was a lot more indie but knew what type of artist she was and changed his sound to fit hers.
She knows her audience and I doubt anything she releases will be too far separated from her older stuff.
