LOVED that interview. There are not many other Pop stars as passionate about making music as Gaga is, and I respect the hell out of that.
I screamed when she started belting Hey Girl, and he said "What about at show 106 of the world tour" and she started belting it even harder
And of course, filled with quotes that the haters will (and already have) take out of context and the other haters can play dumb and insult her over it.
I know it shouldn't, but it annoys me so much when haters take a quote like her quote about when she wrote Angel Down out of context and have a drag fest over it. When you take it out of context like that thread is, of course it looks pretentious. Her entire conversation 100% makes sense.
The publications are all weighted differently, unfortunately.
Figures, we would be in great standing if it wasn't for that horribly biased New York Times review which probably carried a lot of weight. Hope some more great reviews come in. I need at least a 65, even though the album deserves a 70+.
Let Lady Gaga flop every era and receive mixed reviews because if she delivers music like Joanne and ARTPOP every era I am totally here for this music.
Hell, who even cares what a bunch of twinks on a pop music forum says? Careers cannot 'die' because they are not successful - she will release regardless, which half this forum can't seem to fathom.

It was low-key shady when taken out of context, she could have handled it differently. But whatever tbh, she didn't lie & she acknowledged that Madonna is the biggest popstar of all time, etc.
