SorryImLuke
My Top 3

Now, I know most of you are surprised I made it this far and believe me, so am I. I feel like I've been consistently good, however I've also really improved throughout the game. After being in the low category, I really kicked my butt into making sure Lea is represented well and looks elegant, beautiful and fierce.
Lea hasn't got the best catalogue for fashion sense, but with what I had on the table, I really think I put my best, well her best foot forward and delivered. I know others have more wins than me, and for good reasons, their looks have been phenomenal. But I think this has helped me be more determined, to grow, to ensure I don't get over looked.
I think of myself as the dark horse in this competition and no matter what happens, I've loved every single minute of this game.
Thank you. PinkBox
I chose these three looks because they represent what my entries have shown : versatility. The cookie monster look is very campy and over the top whereas the pineapple gown is a mixture of camp and glamour, and the metallic python look is pure glamour.
I've taken many risks throughout the competition : some of them paid off (Cookie Monster, nude look...) while some of them didn't (Pink Marie Antoinette outfit, Tinky Winky outfit...). However, not once was my entry called basic except for the pattern round.
As opposed to the other competitors, I haven't submitted pretty gowns in the majority of the rounds. The looks that I sent in usually had a concept (Cookie Monster, Geisha, Marie Antoinette, pineapple, Tinky Winky, python, evil queen, bridal, Cruella De Vil), which makes the entries more exciting. The looks were unique and only Manila could have pulled them off. If anyone else had sent in their celebrity in a Tinky Winky outfit, it would have been considered a troll entry, but it just works with Manila!
I have also done well statistically since the very first round, including six wins. Those are the reasons why I think I should win.
Good luck to all! I had a lot of fun playing and I'm very happy to be in the top 4 with the three of you.
URBAN
To the Judges:
First and foremost, I want to thank the judges for all your hard work, time and commitment to myself and the other contestants. It's very time consuming to judge and send critiques for over 15 members, so thank you, you're the real winners here.
To the Finalists:
To my fellow finalists, PinkBox, Luke and Kitt, congrats on making it this far. You all truly shined throughout the competition and it's no mistake that we all share this spotlight on this day.
I know I'm suppose to brag about myself and write about why I should win, but instead I'm going to brag about all of us and why we're all winners, then brag about myself.
Kitt, bitch...you've continuously slayed me back to back, you've submitted so many beautiful looks and your portfolio is popping! Win or lose, you have so many wins under your belt that you'll be remembered for seasons to come.
PinkBox, my fat wh0re. We made it to the finals chubae . Your edgy looks and gif filled entries are so memorable. The only Asian drag contestant to make it to finals this season, you're already a star henny! #WerkBitch
Luke, my goodness...talk about the underdog making it far. You really came into your own in the last few rounds. You're definitely a great example of why you should've never underestimate anyone. Change your name to #SorryISlayedYou.
My Speech
*Thinking out loud* URBAN you loser! Why did you send that hideous dress for best look when you had this:
Cuz I'm a risk taker, but not all risks pay off now, do they? Haha, but in all seriousness I'd make a great winner because I'm not afraid of taking risks, I've shown how diverse I can be with my entries, I was very dedicated to this game (check my post count) and I always listened to the advice I was given by the judges. When they told me they were tired of seeing gowns, I switched it up, when they told me they wish they saw different angles, I included different angles. A winner should be able to take advice and follow through, that's what I did, and that's something I'll continue to do moving forward with any tournament I sign up for.
Thank you Judges for all your hard work, thank you Devon for hosting such an amazing season.
Top 3 Outfits:
  Kitt
I'm so happy I'm here.
So, I participated in the previous season and made it to the semifinals before getting unfairly eliminated for submitting " a nude" for Best Look by a panel who didn't understand Kim Kardashian ARTPOP. I didn't think a new season was going to happen anytime soon™ so I was ecstatic to see this thread open for signups.
My poor heart when I rushed to sign my name up, skimming to make sure no one hadn't already claimed Jenny - whom I discovered during that previous run - looks good in just about everything and is a lobster. So, appropriately, I planned to showcase just that and was determined for redemption this time. Now that I've gotten to this point, whether I win or not, I can say that I've at least definitely achieved that.
But if I could take anything from this experience it would be gaining an even stronger eye for detail and sense of diligence. Every round I learned something that improved my performance and gave me the ability to bounce back. I learned quickly of what to look for and avoid based off the response, judges feedback and previous mistakes. Every outfit, especially as the rounds progressed, was heavily weighed against handfuls of options via hundreds of Google image search results to the point where every entry, besides two earlier ones, I hold no regrets over.
Now as for the outfit trinity presented here, I chose these three to simultaneously symbolize something individually and as a unit through her: Jennifer, my run in this game and myself.
1997.
On the far right we have her as the late Selena Quintanilla in her notable purple jumpsuit for the Purple Prince tribute round. This one symbolizes who I am. That film, coincidentally, is one of my all time favorites and as a Latina, Selena, the movie, and Jennifer hold a special place in my heart. You had an icon in the making playing tribute to another budding icon with a breakthrough performance. I'm inspired by both of these women's incredible hard work as performers, despite thanks to their humble backgrounds, whilst maintaining and expanding their sense of identity through their style choices throughout it.
2000.
In the centerpiece, we have the controversial and literally iconic green Versace dress Jennifer became known for. I feel like this was perfect to represent me and this game as this was her breakout as a fashion icon in the making and which is still often referred back to this day to demonstrate her risks and growth since.
2016.
And to the left we have current day Jennifer. She represents longevity as a public figure, woman and fashionista. It is 20 years since the far left and after flops, divorces, a twin pregnancy, and being Jay-Z's age, ugh, this bitch is showcasing that she's still got it. This is what I want to portray with my performance. I've dropped, struggled and stumbled but never let it keep me down and always came back to fulfill that self-made promise from the beginning.
With that, concludingly, I'd like to thank the judges. It's not the intention to schmooze but I know I won't remember to give thanks after the game's wrapped up. Remmy, it was nice being able to interact with you in this way and I came to appreciate your feedback many times as you were fairly consistent in giving it. Citrus, your way with words, professionalism, and self-aware honesty is always such a gift. I could always depend on you to understand where I was coming from. Jpow, I've actually come to realize and appreciate how much we needed you on this panel. Without your criticisms I wouldn't have had much of a standard to base my choices off of. Devon, I'm impressed and proud of you. I'm glad I got to experience this under your creative effort. Thanks for putting up with me.
To my finale mates: Urban, PinkBox, and SorryI'mLuke. You made the season an enjoyment with your entries, interaction and commentary. Good look to you three! Also sumthingtoxic and loveyoubxtch. Thanks for inspiring and upgrading me. And any sideline watchers and my Ace Team for the help and endless support.

Yeah I wasn't sure what was exactly meant by "pick 3 outfits you think best represents yourself" but I didn't have time to ask.

Just to tease, here are some excerpts from each of your critiques:
Quote:

You did a really good job of picking your Top 3 looks from the season - they completely erase any missteps you may have made.

Reminds me of my finale speech in ANTM,..Sappy.

Your speech lacked a little in emotional resonance when compared to some of the others, but fashion is a cold world, anyway.
