I have a stupid question but... Is "Your Truly" more pop than rnb, or vice versa?
I read everywhere that it's a "rnb album"... Yet "Baby I", "You'll Never Know", "Piano","Popular Song" or "Better Left Unsaid" are pure pop no?
I always thought that Yours Truly was pop with heavy RnB influences in most songs, so it was more of a pop album altogether imo
Gawker describes the album as this:
Quote:
No one is going to mistake Grande’s indefatigably peppy spin on modern R&B as something that extends or explores the vast soul tradition. Yours Truly is all about skimming the surface of contemporary R&B for maximum ear-candy potential.
i'm afraid A3 won't be as big as my everything. first of all, streaming has grown a lot in just one year and also all this donut thing. it doesn't seem as a big deal but she's the 2nd most hated celeb in america right now

Don't worry. The people who cared about the donut thing didn't actually buy nor listen to her music. People already forgot about it, I'm sure hey are sti gonna bop to her music. She does AMAZING in streaming. I mean My Everything hit 1 Billion streams months ago
