I love the song, but with such a little amount of Mariah on the track and making us listen to Rick Ross drone on, this probably deserved to flop. Bring on Single #2 already, no guest rappers please.

Such a nice start on Japanese radios. Not every Western performer gets a start like that, and "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" isn't exactly a pop song which makes it even more incredible. Seriously! I just hope it reaches top 10.

At this point, it can only turn into an URBAN hit in the USA. It is climbing very slowly, though.


Europe would never touch it. In Japan, it's a different story. I hope it keeps climbing and it probably will. A top 10 position would be great. If not, a position inside the top 20 would be also acceptable, of course. I remember a fun fact: when I saw "Obsessed" dropping from #16, I was beyond mad! This time, maybe not.

Japan has not a huge urban market, I think. They use some R&B, though. The song is doing OK there on Mariah's name alone (for now). I mean, she is the top-selling non-asian act. Of course she has tons of fans who are requesting the song like crazy and buying it on the digital outlets. We'll see if it turns into a hit nationwide.
