That was my last regular Top 20 Countdown, after more than seven years with no breaks. I've been working on new thematic countdowns that I'm posting in another forum but I'm going to share them in ATRL soon. These countdowns have made me discover new songs from the past, and remember how much great music there were.

I promise sooner than expected there will be a new countdown (or something like that) with my favorite highlights in new music, but definitely not weekly.

After almost 400 consecutive weeks. I will definitely be sad that your weekly countdown will no longer be posted. Especially knowing that I've found so many songs that represented a big part of early/mid 2009. I've been getting the sense of emptiness on current music as well. I don't know if you felt the same thing too, but anyway, the sense of appeciating older music increases as we cannot find ourselves totally happy with what is being released now.
