well actually, there aren't really that many super diverse countries in terms of race. there are a lot of countries with many people from other countries that are the same race (for example, there are a lot of koreans in japan), but not that many with a lot of completely different races. this isn't true for all countries and most have at least a small amount of people from different races, but it's true for the majority of the world

Just saw The Young Turks complaining about Bernie Sanders not previously being invited to speak at the Democratic National Convention. Are they stupid? I like Bernie, but he is an Independent at heart not a Democrat. He only joined the Democratic party 6 months ago. As far as I know, he has won all his elections by running as an Independent. Why would the Democrat Party Convention have an Independent give a speech instead of an actual Democratic Party Politician in previous years?

Obviously Bernie agrees with the Democrats on some issues, but obviously he disagees with them on enough issues such that he has remained Independent, until he needed to join (to run for President). It is obvious the Democratic Party hierarchy is gonna favour Hillary. She is one of them. She has been involved with the Democratic Party for decades and played a significant role in 2 seperate 8 term Democratic Presidential Adminstrations. Bill and Hill have been influential members of the Democrat Party for Decades, and Bernie hasn't, so why are The Young Turks acting surprised that she is more popular within the elected Democrat Party Congressmen? It is not about bias, it is about having a long-standing position of influence within the Democratic Party. Hillary has one, Bernie doesn't.

Bernie has been campaigning and winning elections based on an Independent platform and fair enough. It should be no surprise that given their respective histories that the Democrats as a Party support Hillary. Same as the GOP hierarchy don't support Trump, because he is not really one of them. He is just Tea--Partying the GOP President ticket!

I am just curious as to whether Bernie will join Hillary's Adminstration in some role.
