I think that if this is all true and Demi does become a judge Simon will want to turn Demi into his US Cheryl. Cheryl wasn't very famous until after she did x factor Demi isn't very famous either yet. She is starting to become a bigger artist but she isn't really known worldwide. I think if she gets the job it will give her the exposure she needs to become more popular.
I'm pretty sure Simon's looking for the next "Cheryl Cole" type figure and Demi's story allows her to fit perfectly into that role...he might even help Demi with her music career

im happy for the new peak, and im very happy that she didnt fall like she normally does if she can get atleast 23 million by monday, and can atleast peak in the top 40 over the weekend she can go to #65 next week lets pray nothing bad happens like a death or something like that.
