I agree that the band ruined it. The arrangement was weird and just seemed half assed. I guess I should look at it from KC's point of view. She's doing a simple cover for a fan's request.. she's probably not thinking that her fans are having meltdowns on ATRL over it so it has to be perfect

How can y'all love the You & I cover, when she forgets half the lyrics and continually veers off the melody because she doesn't know it, but when she give a solid vocal you guys hate it??

It was so boring too. Honestly, the song is meant to be sung with softer vocals which she is able to do if she wants to. Idk what the **** she was trying to do but she failed. Jesus that sucked. Let me watch it again to see if I'll like it more.

BUT it was kinda somewhere in the middle. Isn't there like a DJ or something? If you're gonna do the dace version then go all out. The transition from MKIA to MI felt more clubby then that.

Cuz the production KILLED it in the bad way. It was complete crap.

Cleaning out my ears with the original version. Kelly had strong vocals but all she did was mediocre wails. There was no vulnerability in the song which is what Rihanna does so well...maybe Kelly isn't cut out for dance tracks like we thought... I'm gonna chalk it up to the band sucking, again.

Watched it again and I still hate it. Its so ironic that Kelly could slay the most vocally demanding songs but she flops singing a straightforward song like this. Oh well.
