The TRUTH! Sometimes I wonder if I even know what Rih's "natural" voice sounds like. I imagine it's something between CRTFY and Lov7 Song. But I truly have my doubts. She has such a unique tone, it makes no sense for her to be imitating other people

Well she sounds like all the demo. Even Umbrella which hasn't even for her originally, no matter where it's from Rih mostly copies the demo.

She doesn't have her own singing style.

I just want an ALBUM.

I want strong vocal performances, catchy hooks, GENIUS production. It needs to be a universal album. I want songs that can be played on every format on radio and can appeal to almost every generation, well (people age 17-32).

I needs to be a nuanced effort. Its her 8th album there should be no room for screw ups or any **** ups. This year she's too busy so I can even hold out until 2015 if need be. BUT, I need my Rihanna fix so I want a new album this Summer. Lead single can drop in May. I need Bangers. I want a good 3 big URBAN tracks. Working w/ DJ Mustard is a step in the right direction for me in terms of sound. It should be current. Im not saying safe but something thats easily digested to the general public.

I want her to actually stay away from Stargate. We love Stargate I know. They have done wonders for her career but this should be a new dawn for Rihanna. This album should be like a Renaissance (album concept?) in terms of "The return of the modern pop star", redefining what it means to be an artist.

I want the lead single to be a Banger. Something sexy, sweet and in your face. I need her to drop the aggressive, bad girl image and be a woman now. It's imperative that whatever single she drops is the "song of the summer". I chose May because we have the Billboard Awards and the American Idol Finale as great promo spots for her to perform. As well as the BET Awards in June.

I'd be content with a 12 track album; no filler. With 5 ACTUAL singles with enough time to be fully promoted and run their course (at least 3 months)

It amazes me how she can sing the chorus of the monster like 5 times but not do a single run or rif. In fact most of her runs and rifs are already on the demo or else she doesn't sing them (Diamonds outro imitates the Sia one exactly). It makes it seem like She isn't really feeling the songs. Put some life into it Rih!

It's so so imperative that R8 is taken seriously by her and her team. She will be eaten alive by critics, pop fans, and the GP alike if the album isn't good. I think UA was a step in the right direction. But you're completely right about the universal appeal thing. I don't want anyone to be able to deny how unique and creative is. She needs to be involved with the process, not just recreating demos. I hope the extra time will allow her to do that.

I also agree with her lead single being "the song of the summer" IF we get a summer release. If anyone can snatch it from a random newcomer like Carly Rae and Robin Thicke (

) it's her. After finding out that the Vogue Brazil cover is set for May, I'm starting to think this is coming in summer 2014. That's way too early for Home promo and doing a random cover would be stupid. I hope Rih, Jen, Jay Brown, and even ****ing Melissa have their **** together and are able to bring an incredible era.

1) stop with that blunt
2) vocal training and NOT on skype

Well Rihanna has more than a few "random covers" also this is a anniversary shoot therefore probably wanted a huge popstar like GQ UK. Also there plenty of rumours of Rihanna hitting Barbados and Colombia in July which could = July 2014 being a whole Carribean/SA leg and the VOGUE Brazil is too promote/announce the Brazilian dates and lord know Rihanna needs that promotion considering how LOUD tour did.

It actually has nothing to do with her smoking and her vocal abilities, she could easily changes the notes and all but she simply doesn't. She will often change them only on tour.

The only vocal training she did is how to control her breathing and the only reason she needs to stop that blunt is for her cardio.
