Honestly, it goes both ways, cause when Beyonce explicity says she freestyled Drunk In Love and Partition in her "Making of..." documentary (which CLEARLY sound like her, if you follow her DC writing history i.e. Independent Women), people always reference the "writers" credit as a way to diminish her contributions.
Artists are just collaborative. I don't see the issue in it either way. It's just people get mad whenever the Hive says Beyonce has great ideas. They just wanna point out her team of writers, or creatives, or other collaborators as a way to say "she has never come up with an idea in her career".
Had the Sony leak not happened, and Sony CEO not been exposed for being out of the loop of the surprise release, ATRL fomos would have ran with the story that she didn't come up with it. It's all very petty'd and stan war'd.
