So many incredible songs in that list i made, but if its without the words Grammy/Forbes/sales/Rihanna/Gaga/Britney etc. you just know its gonna flop on ATRL!

I don't care if it's about John. But the song is just so cute. The stone-throwing metaphor is so Dylan. Not to mention the simple production, works perfectly with her flawed vocal. And the little laughs. You just can feel how happy she was when she recorded it.
"Ours" is great. Something about its simplicity really works. And i agree...she was writing it when she was in a happy place. Hoping for more paragraphs like this one in your life Taylor.

Critics say she knows how to make a song work out despite her vocals. Genius she is.
The best thing about Ours is that it's simple and sweet. I also think it's one of Taylor's few love songs where the main focus is just saying "I love you."
It has lots of lyrics about it being a "forbidden love" type of relationship, but that theme is subordinate to the "I love you."

It's like she was really desperate to make the relationship worked even tho everyone against it. And that song was like her attempt to reassure the boy (and herself) that things are gonna be okay. But we all know how it ended.
And I know I've said this way too often, but as much as it pleases me to see her happy, as artists, she needs to be deeply hurt from time to time. Being at that state when you're alone and everyone pointing their fingers at you can bring the best out of her. Possibly the side that we have never seen before. I feel like a jackass for this.

i agree with this! i dont necessarily want this to happen, but this is true! infact, i feel any kind of overwhelming emotion or incident, betrayal, ecstacy, sorrow, desperation, can bring out a new side of you!
