I don't see why someone should start with whatever album but the debut, tbh.
If one says that they want to be familiar with an artist's sound, then listen to their greatest hits.
BUT if one says they want to delve into an artist discography, then listen to the albums as they were released .
Especially someone like Madonna. You will clearly understand her growth as an artist from the very first album all the way to Confessions.
Why start with LAP or Confessions, then go back to True Blue , then ROL ?
