Ahh, okay NOW I'm happy. They said the same about TMH, and while it wasn't exactly the amount of growth we might have wanted, they did still expand their sound at a snail's pace. I think they chose the "if it's not broken, don't fix it" strategy and that's why the two albums are similar.
However, if management are as crazy (or maybe sensible, hmm...) as Waffles, then maybe they have realised that "the formula" does indeed require a change, meaning that they will actually show significant growth for this album.
I like to believe that this will be in a new league when it comes to their music. The third album is always an important one!
