"... the problem is that Gaga has ditched pop music and went to make a jazz album with Tony. CTC 1/5"
"... this past March Gaga performed her hit single Swine at the SXSW festival, and during the performance, her friend, Millie puked on her some coloured milk. And we didn't like the performance. CTC 0/5"
"... ARTPOP was a flop. CTC 2/5" "Cheek To Cheek doesn't sound like The Fame Monster. CTC 2/10"
Yes, there will be a few "reviewers" who hate the album simply because it's Gaga, and who will probably call her pretentious and say she's doing that to repair her flopping career, but I think most reviewers will look at this subjectively and love it.

Lots of critics will try to be slick by praising this over her old material, saying it's what she should have done all along.

Anyway, I predict 75.
Let me save these predictions... for... umm... personal purposes.
I mean, I'm not particularly bothered by a fan not thinking it will get a good score (Inception's doubts are valid I suppose), but I'm somewhat bothered that other people - not in this thread, but around ATRL - are trying to beat around the bush. Like ****, it's literally been years, get over yourself and just say you have irrational hate for a pop singer you will never meet. We all know it anyway.
I made a relatively low prediction (not really low) for two reasons.
1. The music is not that great.
2. Tony Bennet's 'Duets II' got a 72 with people like Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Willie Nelson, Norah Jones... Do you really expect just Gaga to get higher? I don't know.

But, for example, Rolling Stone gave Duets II a 60, and haven't they been praising every C2C song so far?
It's just really hard to predict how critics will react.
Tony's Duets II got a 72. Diana Krall who is a current big jazz artist has an average MC score of 70 ( though her last album got a 76). The only score I found for Michael Buble was for "Crazy Love" from back in '09 and he got a 75. So, I think 70-75 is probably the highest it's likely to go for C2C.
Not jazz, but I just hope it doesn't end up like Barbra's album Partners. It has a current score of 57.
I'm not holding my breath for critical acclaim. The songs I've heard in full so far are technically good, but not really that captivating and haven't crept on me the way jazz usually does. IDK, maybe the full album will give me a whole new perspective.
The only thing that gives me hope is I can't find a single negative professional review of any C2C single. 70-75 seems to be what we'll be getting here
